Katherine holds a Doctor of Plant Medicine degree from the University of Florida, which is an interdisciplinary degree involving all aspects of plant health and production, including plant pathology, entomology, nematology, crop nutrition, crop management, ecology, herbicides and pesticides, soil sciences, crop genetic engineering, and integrated pest management. The DPM Program provided her with a unique knowledge base for practicing intellectual property law. Katherine is especially interested in plant physiology, genetics, biosciences, and the development of novel plant varieties. However, she is excited to learn the science behind all types of inventions.
